You can’t be better, when you aren’t allowed to exercise your progress on the previous problem. Finale: if the opponents cars cane be higher level than you, but you never have the chance to be the highest, you will always be outperformed because of power restrictions. In other words, when you can’t pass the competition, why have the ability to upgrade past them? In other words, I feel like my being able to upgrade to a slightly higher power than the AI’s shouldn’t feel so underwhelming due to the fact that now you just have to upgrade your car more, or buy a new one all together because you can’t race the ones you were racing before. Because I feel like this is used to “balance” the abilities of the AI based on your cars power level, which is lame.
Just let us race in the lower tier races at a decreased reward rate, like -40% reward for using a higher power car than the suggestion states.
